Anil is a former banker in Citibank, Salomon Smith Barney, First Union Bank. He has managed credit portfolios over $4 billion and has worked in numerous other executive roles in the banking institutions. Anil is and has been a business and strategy consultant for over 10 years and has advised businesses, real estate developers and portfolio owners of over $250 Million in projects. Anil’s strategic and risk management skills have allowed many companies and projects to get capitalized and go forward. Together with rest of the team, Anil brings excellent capital market contacts and credentials to make projects succeed in their objectives.
Richard Kennedy
Richard "Dick" Kennedy was a banker for 35 years. He worked as a senior manager in different functional areas at Citibank, First Fidelity, First Union and Independence Community Bank. He has been a business advisor and consultant for financial services and business firms for the past 10 years. His knowledge of the financial services industry and his contacts at a variety of lending sources enables Soltas Capital to offer its clients the best solutions for their borrowing needs.
Michael Harris
Michael Harris is an advisor to the corporate and financial industries advising on strategy, marketing, leadership and capital development. He has raised almost $1B in debt and equity for hedge funds, venture capital and private equity endeavors where he has been a principal and/or in charge of business development. Michael has a deep knowledge of the business world having previously been a Chairman, President, CEO, SVP, VP and other corporate and board titles. After receiving his BS from the Ohio State University and his MBA minus his thesis from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota he had an extensive securities career in sales and senior management with UBS/PaineWebber and Smith Barney. Upon leaving management positions within the financial industry, he became a turnaround expert in the logistics and textiles industries, and later went on to consulting on projects involving a technology company in Minnesota, a Merchant Bank in the UAE, and a hedge fund in NYC. Michael currently resides between NYC and Naples, Florida. Michael is pleased to be Part of Soltas Capital team where his skills, knowledge and relationships will create great value in range of business activities and funds.
Angella Brock
Angella Brock, Founder & Managing Director, Brock Global Advisors Ltd, has 20+ years of corporate and entrepreneurial business building successes. Angella brings her global finance expertise and direct C-Suite experience in core industries to transforming vision to value for SMEs with specializations in strategy, financial analytics, M&A integration, as well as valuation, compliance, and governance. Angella holds an MBA from George Mason University, and a BSc Finance & Management from the University of Maryland. Adjunct Faculty, Finance, in the University of Maryland system.
Gregory Urban
Greg Urban is a former banker, having held various roles at UBS, Piper Jaffray and Stifel Financial. For more than 15 years he has provided corporate clients, private equity firms and family offices with strategic and capital markets advice to help grow and transform their businesses. He focuses on ways to capture opportunity in dynamic markets and has completed more than 50 debt and equity financing transactions to date. Greg brings investor relationships and financing structuring expertise to the Soltas Capital team and its clients. Prior to banking, he held several corporate roles in program management and product development. Greg holds an MBA from New York University and an MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
Ali Hirji
Ali has over 33 years of professional experience in the financial services industry , that include as Senior Business Development Officer for the last 25 years ,at Citibank’s Global Commercial Banking Business in New York . Prior to his banking career, Ali was in the international reinsurance business, with Prudential insurance Company as insurance underwriter , and an international reinsurance broker covering the Middle East , India and Africa. Ali is a graduate of Vassar College, with a Double Major in Economics and Political Science, as well as a graduate of the Citi Commercial Credit College Program, and College of Insurance. He has secured his Series 6/7/63 Representative Licenses in New York, and is fluent in English, Hindi, French and Swahili.
